Capital Partnerships President Chris Vineis spoke at today's Rail Trends Conference, "Financing Capacity and Growth in the Railway Industry", in New York City. Providing guidance to the rail industry about the benefits of innovative government financing programs, Ms. Vineis offered suggestions about how to negotiate the $ 35 billion in Railroad Rehabilitation and Infrastructure Financing loans and guarantees as a means to buy, improve or rehabilitate freight and passenger structures and facilties and/or pay down debt. Ms. Vineis and her colleagues manage RRIF loan applications from project conception through approval, offering procedural guidance and financing recommendations while providing suggestions on how to create the best public face for applications.
